Quiet here lately while I work through a few more Fall weddings, so I’ll leave you with a photo of my daughter, whispering encouragement for our saddest houseplant. My approach to photographing children and familes has changed so much since becoming a mom myself. The images I want to create are those that will help you remember the moments that, at the time, seem impossible to forget. The sweet smiles and spontaneous hugs and wide, happy eyes that little ones have at their surroundings. The love on the face of parents watching their baby squeal and laugh at wildflowers. Those are the moments I hope to capture, and Janel, Cory, and Maia shared a morning full of them with me last weekend. Here are a few of my favorite images…enjoy!
