Despite the almost-constant foot traffic through the Public Gardens, it’s hard to find a more beautiful backdrop. Luckily Mike and Kate were up for braving the audience to snap these engagement photos in downtown Boston. From there we headed to Acorn Street, an absolutely gorgeous little street in Beacon Hill and my new favorite portrait location. We had a great time, and I already can’t wait for their March 2012 wedding at the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation.
Matt, Molly, and Bea - an incredibly fun, loving, happy family that I was lucky enough to photograph a few days ago. Raindrops fell as soon as we met up, but we decided to push through and ended up having a really wonderful time shooting these.
Jessica and Joey got married on October 1 in Culpeper, Virginia, on probably the most perfect Autumn day imaginable. The leaves were changing, skies turned gray then blue then gray, a perfect Fall wind kept up all day, and Jessica and Joey were so happy. Jessica’s best friend and Maid of Honor, Lauren, put it perfectly in her toast: that what is wonderful about Joey is that anyone around him can feel and see the love he has for Jessica. There’s no denying how over the moon he is for her, and her for him, and I am so, so happy for them.
