Snow fall, horse country, and new parents-to-be as happy and calm as I’ve ever seen. In a few months the flowers will be blooming and they’ll have a baby boy in their arms, and hopefully these snowy pictures will let them remember the time they spent waiting to meet him.
This past year I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and reconnecting with some really wonderful people. I’ve been lucky enough to document incredible wedding days and capture sweet moments for newly engaged couples and young families. Trying to pull together a collection of my favorite images from the year was a little overwhelming, so I decided to just include a few from each month. So here you have it, a wholly incomplete and far too long recap of my 2011:

She can open a killer story with “That squirrel that just crossed the road reminded me of something I meant to tell you”, and say things like “it’s just good, quality vacuum cleaning” with complete sincerity. She’s convinced that all the world’s beauty can be traced back to Paris, and we end up laughing ourselves to tears more often than not. She’s enthusiastic, generous with her support and encouragement, and has an incredible vision all her own. All in all a pretty fantastic friend to have.
