I arrived at Old Orchard Beach, Maine to 35° and a wind advisory in effect. For an hour I walked around and wondered if it would even be possible to shoot any outdoor pictures. But, when I met Bryan and Julia and we started walking around, it seemed like the weather just created an opportunity for really unique photos. Dramatic skies, powerful waves, and mostly empty streets and attractions. Thank you, Bryan and Julia, for strolling the streets and shoreline, bearing the cold and wind, and trusting me to capture this time for you guys. I honestly can’t wait to meet you back there in September for your wedding.

Tuesday, April 12th, 2011Chances are you will remember your child’s first steps, her reaction to seeing the ocean for the first time, the squeals while digging into her very first birthday cake. Don’t forget to capture, though, the quiet, in-between moments. These are the images that, in 10 years, will fill you with nostalgia for those Saturday mornings in princess pajamas and seemingly endless days of watching her discover a brand new world.
